The Signless x Highblood!Troll!Reader: You're my Protector
As you sat up in a tall tree, cloak close over your face and covering yourself, you watched and listened intently to the Signless's sermon. You've followed the mutant-blood troll and his companions everywhere they went, listening and helping fight for his cause. Who were you, exactly? You used to be (Name), an indigo-blooded troll that lived alongside the GHB. You've gotten fed up with the way he treated other trolls alike, although you had the identical strength and life as him. You ran away one night and never came back. Wherever you went and saw his blue-blooded guards attacking, culling, and capturing trolls, you culled them with your clubs. Ever since, you've gained the title of either "The Protector" or "The Guardian". You preferred "The Protector" better and have also gave up your name to use it instead.
Anyways, back to the sermon. Although you've never talked to him, you've grown to develop red feelings for Signless. It hurt your bloodpusher sometimes because you knew Signless and the Disciple were matesprits. As he was talking, you looked back and saw that from afar, guards were coming. In a rush of panic, you jumped down from your hiding spot in the tree and shot a flare in the sky. Trolls from other villages spread the word that whenever the Protector spots guards heading towards a village, she'll signal a flare as a warning to evacuate and prepare for danger. Word had gotten to the Signless about it and it lead him to wonder who exactly was the Protector? As he saw the flare, his eyes widened. "Fellow trolls! There are blueblood guards coming! You must evacuate immediately and hide! You're all in danger!" he said, frantically. As trolls screamed, running to the woods to hide and as such. As a clearing appeared, you ran out, still cloaked, and prepared to fight. Pulling out your stained clubs, guards started to infiltrate the village. You saw the Signless and his friends run into the woods, hiding. You didn't know that they hadn't left. They were watching you fight from afar.
"Who in Alternia is that?!" whispered the Dolorosa. "Thatth the Protector. Tthe alwayth thowth up at the tthermonth. Tthe tthitth in the treeth and tthe fightth the GHB," said the Psiioniic. "She's...the Protector?" whispered Signless, in amazement. She fought wonderfully. She was amazingly strong, agile and quick. He managed to get a quick glance at her weapons she was using. 'Clubs?! They're like the Grand Highblood's! Does that mean...she's a highblood, too?!' worried Signless. After she got done culling the guards, Signless came out of his hiding spot and walked towards her. You reattached your clubs to their holsters on your twin belts. "Excuse me, but would you happen to be the Protector?" said a soft, but loud male voice said. As you turned around to face them, your (b/c) eyes widened in surprise. Signless?!
"Yes, I am the Protector. What is your business with me, the Signless?" you said, not letting your feelings show in your voice. "I was aware of your effort to help our cause and I would like to offer an opportunity to join our forces and to have equality amongst the hemospectrum," he said, using the same voice he does when speaking of his sermons. As he talked, you saw Dolorosa, Disciple, and Psionic come out of the forest and stand behind him. "Hm...I will think upon the matter for now, but it would be wise for all of us to depart now before more guards come this way. For now, I will accompany you on your journey until I reach a decision, if that will be quite alright with you," you said, walking towards the woods, pulling your cloak above your head, avoiding your horns. Signless looked at his friends, as if silently asking if you can travel with them. As they all nodded, they started following you into the woods. "It is fine with us, and if you don't mind, is there a specific name you liked to be called other than the Protector or as such?" he asked. "Yes...for now you may call me (Name), if you'd like," you said, hiding your blush. Damn, why was he so fucking sexy?! Jegus, this is gonna be tough.
